Evelyn-Harvey Denton Dickinson is being sued by Global Quarry Products for her comments about the graves of the Denton Family and others in White Cove, Digby County.

There will be a public meeting on Sunday the 23rd of November at 3.00 pm at Acadia University, Room 244, BAC to inform the public as to what is happening and the implications.

Howard Epstein has introduced legislation in the Nova Scotia Assembly to protect citizens' right to speak out on issues. MLA Epstein will speak at the session at Acadia.

What is happening to Evelyn is called a SLAPP suit (strategic law suits against public participation).

Clippings and Notes related to the case and the proposed quarry will be available. There will be time for questions and answers from a panel of persons familiar with SLAPP and community self-determination.
