We will review a little of our history, what we have become, and what we offer to members and churches.

We will wrestle with some current issues/opportunities and try to reach resolutions.
And we will postulate where we want to direct our efforts as we journey along together, with programming suggestions and more.  It will require your active participation and suggestions.
And, as directed by our October 2019 Gathering, the Steering Committee will be offering a response to the "CBOQ Discernment Process" for your consideration .

We have a stated affiliation with the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America (among others) and will spend some moments hearing from our Canadian representative, Karen Turner, as well as the BPFNA Executive Director, Doris Garcia, ... and will consider their suggestion(s).

Honouring Our Mentors
Anticipating Tomorrow

Our day will recognize former professors of McMaster Divinity College during the 1980s and the mentoring influence they've had on many of us, directly and indirectly. We have invited  several of them to spend the day with us.
The program will include an historical sketch of the movement in religion, the attacks on seminaries, and the crisis at MacMaster Divinity College which led to the departure of most of our professors, to give some context to the rest of the discussion. It will be an opportunity to gain from the seasoned reflections of these theologians about the future direction of the Church and their thoughts on how theological educators and congregations will need to respond.

Registration:
$25 includes Saturday lunch, payable at the door.
To facilitate planning of meeting rooms and meals, please register before 20 October by contacting:
Gary Caldwell, caldwell@silomail.com  519-647-3504.
Street parking available. Watch the signs.
